Mode if it thinks I’m using an expired subscription! I purchased the offline/non subscription version specifically so that I could work offline for long periods. Then Word will stop working or go into ‘read only’ I’m worried that if I can’t get online regularly, To check my subscription status when I go offline! It also seems to think that I am primarily using Office 365, which I presume is why it wants In a nutshell, it seems like Office (or my MS account) thinks I have both versions installed, (Office 365 and Office Home & Student 2016) even though I don’t. It still shows me as needing to 'verify my 365 subscription'. They unistalled/reinstalled, but sadly, once I signed off from them and went offline again, the problem came back. Today, I chatted to someone else via MS support who took control of my laptop to try and fix it. The first time I asked for help, the MS agent kindly guided me run and online repair of Office, which I did, but this sadly did not fix a thing.
